Youth Leader Fund (YLF) 2025 in Japan (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the Youth Leader Fund (YLF) 2025 in Japan. This is a fully-funded, 7-day study trip to two of Japan’s most well-known cities, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The program is open to applicants from all countries, with no application fees and no IELTS required. Young people from all fields of study are welcome to apply. The program’s purpose is to provide training, knowledge, and skills to future leaders who will help abolish nuclear weapons, one of the world’s biggest threats. The goal is to foster a more peaceful and secure world. About 50 participants will get the chance to visit both cities during the tour.

Event Introduction:

  • The first part of the program is a 4-month online course with interactive talks.
  • Once the online course is completed, 50 selected participants will head to Japan for a 6-day study tour in mid-2026.

  • Participants will visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki for educational trips.
  • They have direct conversations with Hibakusha, the people who survived the atomic bombings.

  • The program is available to young people from all around the world.
  • It’s open to individuals between the ages of 18 and 29.
  • People from all kinds of educational backgrounds can apply.
  • The program will be held in English only.
  • You don’t need a specific degree or qualification to apply.
