The Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2025–26 is now open for international students! This program is held in memory of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of Azerbaijan. It’s offered by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Science & Education. Students from any field can apply to study in Azerbaijan for free—no application fee needed. The scholarship covers prep courses, undergraduate, graduate, PhD, and medical residency programs. It lasts up to 5 years and will be awarded to about 100 students.

Requirements:
The scholarship is available to everyone except for Azerbaijani nationals.
National Identity: The scholarship is not available to citizens of Azerbaijan or those who have lost their Azerbaijani citizenship.
Age Eligible:
- Bachelor’s and basic medical programs: Applicants from other countries must be under 35 years old.
- Postgraduate and doctor training programs: Applicants from other countries must be under 40 years old.
- PhD programs: Applicants from other countries must be under 45 years old.

- Wait for your country’s official bodies—like ministries, embassies, or education departments—to announce when applications are open.

- The appropriate authorities will review applications and choose qualified candidates.
- If you’re selected, you’ll move on to the next step of the application process, which is applying through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS).
