DAAD Study Scholarships for Master Studies 2025, Germany (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the DAAD Study Scholarships for Master Studies in Germany for the year 2025. These scholarships are fully funded opportunities for international students to pursue a Master’s degree in any academic field in Germany. Sponsored by the German Federal Foreign Office, the scholarship covers a monthly stipend, insurance, travel allowance, and annual study allowance. In some cases, recipients may also receive a monthly rent subsidy and family allowance.

Every year, DAAD helps more than 100,000 students and researchers from all around the globe. Germany has 2.8 million students in total, including 458,210 from other countries. It’s a top destination for international students because most public universities don’t charge any tuition fees.

5. You may receive a monthly subsidy to help pay rent, depending on certain conditions.

6. There’s a possible monthly allowance for family members who accompany you, depending on certain conditions.

7. We cover the cost of German language courses.

8. We reimburse you for language test fees.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. International students can apply.

2. You must finish your first degree (like a Bachelor’s or Diploma) before the program starts.

3. The scholarship usually starts in October 2025.

Selection Criteria:

  • Academic Qualification and Achievements.
  • School leaving certificate, if applicable
  • Course of studies
  • Knowledge of the language(s) of instruction or working language(s)
  • Any internships or jobs you’ve had that relate to the position.
