The Gottfried Böhm Scholarship is a highly respected chance for those passionate about design and community work. This fully funded residency in Cologne lasts for one year, allowing chosen participants to fully engage in a creative atmosphere, work alongside experienced professionals, and explore the details of architecture and urban planning.
Throughout the residency, participants will have access to valuable resources like guidance from skilled architects, hands-on workshops, and networking events to share ideas. Scholars will be encouraged to create projects that challenge modern architecture while also tackling real-world problems in urban environments.
The scholarship also highlights the value of community involvement, urging residents to connect with local people and include their feedback in their projects. This approach helps create designs that are not just visually appealing but also practical and cater to the needs of the community.
