You can apply to attend a conference about biodiversity in Cali, Colombia. It’s organized by the Earth Journalism Network (EJN) for journalists. The conference runs from October 21 to November 1, 2024. Participants will arrive on October 19 and leave on November 2, 2024. EJN will pay for your flight, accommodation, meals, transportation, medical insurance, and visa expenses.
Biodiversity means the many different types of living things on Earth. Since 1970, wildlife around the world has decreased by 69%. More than 1 million kinds of animals and plants could disappear by 2030. The Earth Journalism Network wants to make sure that many different countries talk about this issue. They are inviting journalists from poorer countries who want to come to the event and write about it.

2. We invite applications from journalists across all media platforms.
3. This opportunity extends to independent journalists operating on a freelance basis.
4. Must be prepared to journey to Cali, Colombia, between October 19th and November 2nd, 2024.
5. Proficiency in the English language is required.
