Applications are now open for the HKBU International Writers Workshop (IWW) 2026. This is a fully funded, four-week residency program held at Hong Kong Baptist University, where writers from around the world are invited to live and work in Hong Kong. The program will run from March 2 to March 29, 2026. Writers from any country can apply to take part in the 2026 Writers-in-Residence Program. The theme for this year is “Here and There.” During the residency, participants will focus on their writing projects and share their creative work with others. The program will conclude with the IWW Literary Festival.
