INFORMATION:
- Job role: Property Maintenance Specialist
- Place: St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
- No Experience Necessary
- Pay: $15 an hour
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- At least six months of experience in building upkeep, cleaning, or outdoor maintenance.
- The ability to stay focused and perform well in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- A warm and approachable attitude that encourages positive interactions.
- Strong skills in both speaking and writing in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
- Valid work authorization in Canada, with a clean criminal record and no history of infectious diseases.
- A valid driver’s license and a spotless driving record.
- A flexible schedule that allows for on-call weekend availability.
DUTIES:
- Cleaning and sanitizing shared spaces, such as hallways, entrances, and waiting areas.
- Vacuuming or cleaning floors, elevators, hallways, stairwells, and windows.
- Caring for gardens, landscaped spaces, sidewalks, and parking areas.
- Carrying out regular tasks like snow shoveling, trimming, weeding, and planting when necessary.
- Supporting construction teams, including builders and contractors, with small maintenance tasks.
- Quickly responding to residents’ questions, concerns, or complaints.
- Prioritizing resident well-being and maintaining the community, while offering practical solutions.
- Taking on extra tasks as directed by the Support Supervisor.
