Job Position:
The Western community is becoming increasingly diverse and expanding rapidly.Each year, our maternity programs support nearly 4,000 women with low to moderate-risk pregnancies. Our team offers a range of services, including antenatal and postnatal care, home-based midwifery, birth suites, and a dedicated space for maternity assessments.
We are seeking passionate and motivated midwives to join our supportive and friendly team. You’ll have the opportunity to provide women with comprehensive, patient-focused care throughout every stage of their pregnancy.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Please provide a recent police background check and a verification of any past work with minors. As permitted by law, Mercy Health may conduct additional security checks if necessary.
- You will also need to provide proof of vaccination to comply with public health guidelines and Mercy Health’s policies. This includes required vaccinations such as the seasonal flu and COVID-19 vaccines, among others.
Responsibilities:
- First, you must be officially listed with AHPRA as a midwife.
- You’ll need to provide evidence of your RANZCOG FSEP certification.
- You should also demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills. The team you collaborate with should be experienced and proficient in prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
