Duties:
Resident Care and Support:
- Help make the care home feel welcoming and comfortable, putting residents’ happiness and comfort first.
- Work closely with the care team to make sure each resident’s care plan fits their personal needs and preferences.
- Plan fun and social activities to keep residents engaged and improve their daily life.
- Be the go-to person for residents and their families—ready to listen, help, and solve any concerns.
- Manage meal services to make sure residents enjoy tasty, healthy food that meets their dietary needs.
Cleaning and Building Care:
- Make sure the care home stays clean, safe, and hygienic for everyone.
- Oversee cleaning tasks to keep shared spaces and residents’ rooms neat and tidy.
- Look after laundry services so residents’ clothes and bedding are fresh and well-maintained.
- Manage supplies and equipment, working with other teams to keep things running smoothly.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Hire, train, and lead the hospitality and housekeeping team to maintain excellent service and care.
- Provide regular support and feedback, review staff performance, and help them grow with training opportunities.
Meeting Standards and Ensuring Quality:
- Make sure the care home follows all health, safety, and cleanliness rules.
- Keep clear and accurate records for cleaning and hospitality services.
- Do regular checks to improve service quality and fix any problems quickly.
