ITU UNU MERIT Summer School 2025 in Netherlands (FUNDED)

Applications are now open for the ITU UNU MERIT Summer School 2025 in the Netherlands. This fully-funded summer school invites participants from around the world to join a free 5-day program. It will be held in Maastricht, Netherlands, from 23 to 27 June, 2025. There’s no application fee, and anyone from any country can apply. The theme of the summer school is “Digital and Green Transitions.” The goal is to introduce participants to new digital technologies, digital farming, and e-waste management through lectures and interactive sessions. Around 30 participants will be selected to join.

Concepts:

Electronic recycling: This will cover the issues with e-waste and how to handle it properly.

Requirements:

  • Applicants need to have a completed Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a similar field.
  • You must be fluent in English.
  • People actively engaged in digital or sustainability projects.
  • We strongly invite policymakers from developing nations to apply.
  • Workers from government, private, and non-profit organizations in digital development and tech can apply.
  • Active participation in all Summer School activities is required.
