The University of Padua, one of Italy’s oldest and most respected universities, has announced scholarships for students enrolling in English-taught degree programs for the 2025/2026 academic year.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
- PADUA INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCE SHOLARSHIP
Up to 62 scholarships are available for top students applying to English-taught degree programs at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Single-cycle level.
- FACULTY SCHOLARSHIPS
31 scholarships are available for specific degree programs, including:
- Health Science: 1 (Bachelor’s in Human and Environmental Health Biology)
- Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Design Engineering: 6 (Different MSc programs)
- Understanding how people grow and connect with others”: “Master’s in Child and Adolescent Psychology, focusing on practical skills to support the mental health and development of young people.”
- Industrial Engineering: 5 (Different MSc programs such as Aerospace, Energy. Materials)
- TeSAF – Agriculture & Forestry: 1 (Master of Science in Forest Science)
- Linguistic and Literary Research: 1 (Master’s in English Studies)
- Mathematics: 10 (Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Computational Finance, etc.)
- Medicine: 2 (One-cycle program in Medicine and Surgery)
- Philosophy, Sociology, Education, and Applied Psychology: 2 (Master’s in psychology , social science )
- Political Science, Law, and International Studies: 2 (Master’s in European and Global studies , human rights)
PERKS:
Each person awarded the scholarship will receive:
- A yearly payment of €8,000 before taxes
- Full coverage of tuition fees
- Support is provided for up to 2 years for Master’s degrees and up to 3 years for Bachelor’s or Single-cycle programs.
- You may be selected to act as a university ambassador at conferences and events.
- Students only need to pay a small administrative fee, which includes a regional tax and a revenue stamp.
- Keep in mind that travel, insurance, and personal expenses are not covered.
APPLICATION CRITERIA:
- Applicants must not be Italian citizens or hold dual citizenship with Italy.
- Must be residing outside of Italy at the time of application.
- Hold a high school diploma (for undergrad) or a Bachelor’s degree (for postgrad) earned outside of Italy.
- Choose and apply to a maximum of three English-language degree programs at the University of Padua.
- Apply through the regular admission process; there’s no need to submit a separate form for the scholarship.
