The KAUST Global Fellowship 2026 is now accepting applications from postdoctoral researchers worldwide. This fully funded, three-year program is based in Saudi Arabia and supports fellows in leading their own independent research projects focused on global challenges and making a positive impact on society.
The fellowship is designed to attract exceptional early-career scientists, researchers, and future leaders from around the globe. Selected fellows will receive $40,000 in research funding, an annual stipend of $75,000, medical insurance, free housing, schooling for up to two children, a relocation package, and yearly travel support. There’s no application fee,and candidates of all nationalities can apply.

Requirements:
- Open to applicants from any country.
- Open to all age groups.
- Completed a Ph.D. in the last 4 years: To apply, your Ph.D. should have been completed within the last four years (e.g., after January 2022 for a January 2026 deadline).
- Must hold a Ph.D. before joining: Your Ph.D. must be finished before the start of the fellowship.
- Open to relocating: You need to be ready to live at KAUST for the three-year research project.
- Confirmed Host: You must find a KAUST professor who is willing to support your research.
